September of 2016: $400,000.00 settlement for medical malpractice client;

Our client was a Spanish speaker who went to a clinic for a growth on his penis. The physician prescribed topical ointment and told patient it was not of any concern. After two years, the growth became worse and upon a second opinion, client learned that he suffered from penile cancer. The medical chart supported the defendant’s testimony that he advised client to got see a specialist on multiple occasions. We employed a document expert to examine the original medical chart and we were able to prove that the defendant physician altered his chart after the visits in question to add supportive entries. The defendant’s representatives changed their “no offer” position very quickly and the case was resolved.
